PHIL Eynon has stepped down as governance director of Hereford FC.
Eynon's departure, and that of financial director Mike Cole last month, means that there are now two short-term vacancies on the board.
‘We respect the decision Phil has reached and on behalf of everyone at the club I’d like to thank him for the huge amount of time and effort he has put in at Edgar Street over the past two years," said Hereford chairman Ken Kinnersley.
"He has played a vital role in ensuring the club has had solid foundations to build from, and that the club has been governed properly from the outset.
"The process of appointing a new financial director and a replacement for Phil is already at an advanced stage, subject to the necessary legal formalities and the requirement for a slight re-alignment of responsibilities within the Hereford FC board.
"I can reassure supporters that as soon as new appointments are made we will announce them immediately and that in the meantime it is very much business as usual at Edgar Street."
