LEOMINSTER Town continued their good run with a 4-3 away win over Worcester City Reserves in the Kidderminster Wo-men's County League.

But it took a fine late save from goalkeeper Emma Roche make sure they held on.

Leominster took an early lead through Lucy Harding and Katie Evans doubled the advantage from the penalty spot.

Worcester hit back swiftly, however, and levelled the scores at the interval.

Leominster got back on track in the second period with goals from Evans and Annie Davies but Worcester again rallied and pulled one back before Roche's crucial save.

Phoenix under-15 moved closer to their second successive league title in the Mercian League with a 3-1 win at Bredon.

Phoenix made a bright start when Tasha Merris headed in a Rebecca Panniers cross but Bredon equalised after a fine move.

The visitors regained control after the break and goals from Keira Hennessey and Panniers secured their win.
