A BEAUTICIAN who set up a salon with the help of the Prince's Trust attended a garden party to celebrate Prince Charles's 70th birthday.

Elise Sullivan who runs Beau Boo Beauty in the Riverside Shopping Centre in Evesham was nominated to attend the Buckingham Palace bash today (May 22) which featured the first official appearance of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as a married couple.

Ms Sullivan, who opened the salon in December last year, said: "It's been a really great day, the weather has been amazing.

"I saw Prince Harry and Meghan. Harry did a nice speech.

"There was a gospel choir and bagpipes. They served some lovely salmon and cucumber and mint sandwiches with tea.

"It was a lot of mingling with other charities and people who the Prince's Trust have helped.

"It has been a really great day. We're stopping over in London tonight but I've got to get back to the salon tomorrow."

Miss Sullivan attended the garden party with her mentor Claire Hayward from The Secret Retreat beauty school in Evesham.

She has also recently been chosen to become a Young Ambassador for the Prince's Trust.
