TRAFFIC using the M5 northbound is facing delays following a crash involving three cars.
The crash happened about five miles north of the Strensham services, and at one point, the queueing stretched back at least as far as the service station.
Highways England tweeted: "Traffic has now been released and 2 of (3) lanes are now open following a multiple vehicle collision. Please approach with care as emergency services continue to work on scene. Delays of 20 minutes remain on the approach."
The fire service tweeted: "1807 M5 NB Jct 7-8 RTC involving 3 cars 🚙🚗🚙 Made safe by @HWFireWorcs and @HWFireUpton 🚒 No persons trapped. 6 adults & 2 children assessed by @OFFICIALWMAS 🚑 for minor injuries."
