SHOWCASE Cinema in Dudley has unveiled which films will be on offer when it reopens its doors to film fans on Friday.

The Castle Gate cinema reopens on July 10 with a raft of safety measures in place, including hand sanitisation stations and regular deep cleans of screens.

With the release date of many new films delayed due to Covid-19, the cinema chain has lined up a host of classic films and modern favourites, all priced at £5 a ticket.

Peter Rabbit, Paddington, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast are among the family favourites to be screened.

Sci-fi classics on offer include Star Wars Episode V: Empire Strikes Back, Star Trek, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1 and The Matrix, while musical fans will enjoy Mamma Mia, The Greatest Showman and A Star Is Born.

There will also be another chance to see recent Oscar winners including war drama 1917 and Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.

Back To The Future, The Shinning, Terminator 2 and Pulp Fiction are also included in the line-up.

Cinema goers are asked to book in advance online or use the self-service ticket machines in the lobby.
