A MAN in his 20s suffered facial injuries after violence flared in Halesowen town centre.
Police said the man was attacked in High Street at around 10.30pm on Saturday (July 4) - the day - dubbed Super Saturday - that pubs reopened.
A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to reports of disorder in High Street, Halesowen, around 10.30pm on Saturday (4 July).
"A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with facial injuries after being attacked.
"A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
