A MAJOR fire at a Worcestershire farm shop is starting to die down after firefighters tackled the blaze for over five hours.

Kelsie Cowell lives opposite The Farm Shop at Ombersley. She said: "It looks as though it has been extinguished as much as possible, but there are still seven or eight emergency vehicles around the entrance and on the main road.

"The air had been polluted with thick black smoke but that seems to have ceased now. Unforunately the whole shop seems to have gone under. It is so very sad to see."

Owners of the shop posted on Facebook: "I'm so sorry to all of our customers but it looks like we can't open any more thank you so much for all of your support I'm totally gutted me and the team tried so hard to make the shop great and I believed we finally did it again I'm sorry we can't support our loyal customers anymore."
