PEOPLE took to the streets of Worcestershire to clap for NHS staff and key workers on the frontline of the response to the coronavirus outbreak.

Yesterday was the second time that the clapping - held at 8pm on Thursdays - had taken place.

Among those who told us they were clapping from their doorsteps and driveways in Worcester were people in Calder Road, Ransome Avenue, Northwick Avenue, Penhill Crescent, Grasshopper Avenue, Bransford Road, Linksview Crescent, Oriel Close and Sommerville Road.

There was also clapping and cheering in Slade Avenue and Duck Meadow, Raleigh Close, Kingston Avenue, Meadowbank Drive, Sentinel Close, Wolsey Close, Don Road, Pitchcroft Lane, Portland Walk, Alberta Close, Ombersley Close, Victoria Street, Gorse Hill Road, Tunnel Hill, Deer Avenue, London Road, Vimiera Close, Chamberlain Road, Graham Road, Lower Chestnut Street and Little Chestnut Street, Arboretum, Hawkins Close and Coney Green Close.

People also clapped in Kennel's Lane, Fernhill Heath, Mayfield Road and Lancelott Court in Pershore and in Hallow, Drakes Broughton, Wichenford, Hadzor and Droitwich.
