MANY churches in the county are still keeping Christians together in faith by the use of modern technology.

The Prime Minister Boris Johnson, has brought in unprecedented lockdown measures to keep members of the public safe.

The coronavirus pandemic has closed many shops and places of worship in a bid to “flatten the curve” on people contracting the novel virus.

The Worcester Diocese has worked with many churches in the county to come up with a solution to allow people to remain isolated but still participate in worship.

Worcester Cathedral is streaming its 8.30am service each morning on the Cathedral Facebook page.

The Cathedral organists and lay Clerks are releasing musical content each evening at 6:30pm on their Facebook page.

Each day, All Saints in Worcester is streaming 11am morning prayer and 10pm Compline as well as a Sunday service at 10.30am on YouTube.

The Government has said the pandemic could last many months, causing widespread disruption to many.

Zoom interface is used by Holy Trinity & St Matthew, Ronkswood.

Sunday worship is via Zoom on at 10am and 6pm. Details about how to join in are on the parish website.

At Little Malvern Priory Little Malvern Priory, the revd Eric Knowles is recording a sermon each week which is available on the parish website.

The Government has said the coronavirus pandemic could last weeks and people will need to self isolate for a long time to come.
