RAIN forecast for this weekend is expected to cause the River Severn to rise in Bewdley.
River levels are expected to drop below the 4m - the threshold for possible property flooding - on Saturday, after reaching near record levels this week.
Flood warnings remain in place in Bewdley and Stourport and the Environment Agency has warned that the river could rise again following rainfall on Friday and Saturday this week.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind in the area on Saturday and Sunday.
The latest update from the Environment Agency states that river levels are falling at the Bewdley gauge, but flooding is still affecting Beales Corner and other areas in Bewdley and Stourport.
A spokesman said: "Further rainfall is forecast on Friday and Saturday, this is likely to cause river levels to rise again.

"This is predicted to peak at Bewdley between 4.2 and 4.6m on Monday evening.
"We are monitoring the situation and will inspect the temporary defences when water levels have reduced to enable this to be undertaken safely.
"Please avoid contact with flood water if possible and follow advice from emergency services."
