STAFF from Worcester City Council have been out in the city cleaning up after the Storm Dennis floods.
A city council spokesman said: "Teams have been in action over the weekend, collecting bins we couldn't reach earlier in the week and washing down footpaths and parks that had been engulfed by flood water.
"Our staff have been helping the people of Diglis clear up after the floods, including assisting in the disposal of damaged items.
"We are reminding all residents who have been flooded not to throw out any damaged items until they have spoken to their insurer."
Council staff have been helping clean and disinfect roads as well as sites including the Gheluvelt Park play area.
They have also been helping Diglis residents clean up and dispose of damaged items.
