A PROLIFIC shoplifter arrested by Halesowen police has been sent to prison.
Mohammed Zaid, of Whitehall Road, Cradley Heath, admitted 10 counts of theft and one count of criminal damage when he appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court last Thursday (February 13).
The unemployed 35-year-old was sentenced to nine weeks in prison.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £122 and costs of £185.
He was arrested by Halesowen police last week.
