A MAN in his 20s suffered 'potentially serious injuries' after an early-morning three-vehicle crash on the M5 near Bromsgrove this morning (Friday).
Two cars and a lorry were involved in the collision which happened on the northbound stretch between J4 (Bromsgrove) and J3 (Quinton) just after 6.30am.
West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed the man, who was driving one of the cars, was treated for potentially serious injuries at the scene and then taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
The driver of the other car, a woman in her 50s, was assessed for minor injuries and was discharged at the scene.
The accident caused two lanes of the motorway to be closed, leading to long delays with traffic tailbacks of up to two miles.
The motorway is now fully open again.
