HEREFORDSHIRE Council is urging parents urged to take action as the deadline for primary school applications is fast approaching
With the deadline set for next week, the Local Education Authority is reminding parents that time is running out to apply for their child’s primary school place.
Parents are urged to apply for primary school reception classes in Herefordshire, for children who turn five between September 2020 and August 2021 (those born between 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016).
A spokesman said: " You must still apply for a reception class place, even if you already have a place in the nursery associated with your preferred school.
"You can apply online at www.herefordshire.gov.uk/primaryschooladmissions
"For parents or carers who are unable to apply online, phone 01432 260926 / 261574. The deadline is midnight on Wednesday January 15.
