DRIVERS have been warned to expect delays after a tree came down across a Halesowen road after high winds.

The tree has come down on Manor Way near its junction with Hagley Road/Foxhunt roundabout.

Dudley Council highways staff are at the scene but it is warning drivers to advised to find an alternative route if possible as there are delays.

A spokesman for Dudley Council said the tree was out of the road, but one lane was closed while it was chopped up.

The council confirmed at 2.50pm: "The obstruction has now been removed from Manor Lane, Halesowen and traffic is moving normally."
