POLICE are appealing to the public for their help in identifying a woman who was seen on CCTV in Vines Lane, Droitwich on Sunday, June 23.

Detective Inspector Mark Walters of West Mercia Police, said: “This appeal is regarding our investigation into the 'murder' of Desmond Wooding at his home in Vines Lane on the same day.

“The enquiry team is keen to identify and speak with the young woman who is not suspected of any wrong doing at all but may be able to assist the police investigation as a witness and provide important information that can help us with our enquiry.

Desmond Wooding, 80, was found dead at his home in Vines Lane on June 24.

Anyone with information or who recognises the woman is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
