Meanwhile Neil Harbourne, of Prestwich Avenue, Worcester, appeared in court on a charge of burglary dwelling and theft.

Harbourne pleaded not guilty to the charge, and after legal argument it was established by deputy district judge Steven Jonas that the case was indictable only, so had to be sent to crown court for trial.

And Matthew Simmonds, of Beauchamp Road, Malvern, admitted sending communication conveying a threatening message to victim Tegan Downes and causing criminal damage to property under £5,000, in destroying a window pane to the value of £156 at a property belonging to Ann Stevens.

The case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report.

The judge also issued a warrant for the arrest of Christian Tudor, of Ripon Road, Worcester.

The 25-year-old had been charged with driving whilst disqualified in Leicester Grove, Evesham, on August 14.
