A BROMSGROVE thug has been jailed for a series of assaults on women while he was serving a community sentence.
Andrew Harper, aged 53, from Crossley Walk, admitted three charges of beating female victims, one charge of threatening violence against a male and two charges of threatening disorderly behaviour.
Harper committed the offences while already subject to a community sentence for offences including using threatening behaviour, criminal damage and possession of cannabis.
Worcestershire magistrates sent him to prison for a total of 20 weeks and ordered to him to pay a victim surcharge of £122.
Also before Worcestershire magistrates:
Benjamin Jenkins, aged 26, from School Drive, was given a community order with a requirement to carry out 50 hours unpaid work and get treatment for drug dependency after he admitted making threats to kill another person.
Jamie Ruff, aged 29, from Hipkiss Gardens, Droitwich, was given a curfew between 6pm and 6am after he pleaded guilty to criminal damage.
Ruff was further ordered to pay £300 compensation and £100 costs.
Lloyd Maloney, aged 25, of Bays Meadow, Droitwich, was ordered to carry out 80 hours unpaid work and pay £300 compensation and £100 costs after he pleaded guilty to criminal damage.
