A 17-YEAR-OLD suffered facial injuries in an assault near a Halesowen school.
The teenage boy was attacked in Furnace Lane, opposite Earls High School, at around 1.45pm yesterday (Monday December 2).
Police are investigating the nasty incident and appealed for witnesses.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said the teen is believed to have been assaulted by a male attacker.
They said: "Police are investigating after a 17-year-old boy was assaulted in Furnace Lane, Halesowen, around 1.45pm yesterday (2 December).
"He suffered facial injuries and anyone with information is asked to contact police via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk, or via 101.
"Quote crime reference number 20DY/284872X/19."
