RESIDENTS in Romsley are being warned to be on their guard following a break in.

A stables building was broken into on Dark Lane and a messy search was carried out.

Nothing was reported stolen, but there have been other reports of similar break ins to sheds and outbuildings in the area.

Police are urging people to remain alert.

A police spokesman said: "If you have information that you believe may be in connection to this incident, please contact the police on 101, quoting the incident number 0390s 281119.

"Please remain vigilant around your area and report suspicious persons, vehicles or activity to the police on 101."

The incident happened between November 21 and 28.
