A FORMER Masterchef contestant from Upton Warren will be cooking up a storm when he hosts a special seasonal supper club.
Dave Hadley appeared on the hit BBC show last year, but was sadly knocked out in the first round.
However, he got a taste for it and for the last year has been putting on a three-course meals made of local produce in and around Bromsgrove.
Mr Hadley, a sergeant for West Midlands Police who is originally from Oldbury, said: "Masterchef was a fantastic experience and I met some great people. I wanted to do something with it around food, so I thought I would have a go at doing something with it in my adopted home town."
He will be holding a special supper club at Café Morso in Barnt Green on December 14.
Dave added: "I will I'll be cooking three courses (with a few little extra courses thrown in for good measure) with a little Masterchef twist here and there! I will also be using produce that is local and bang in season.
"I'm thinking Winter comfort on a plate, and whilst it will be December there won't be a Christmas Dinner in sight."
