THESE are some of the cases that were heard at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday.
A drink driver who stole a car and caused an accident appeared in court.
Sebastian Mcstay of Northwick Road, Evesham was found driving with 57 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. Mcstay took a Ford Fiesta VO15EOJ, without the owners consent and caused an accident which resulted in the damage of a Vauxhall Corsa VX63 NVU and a Vauxahll Astra VU56 OCC.
Mcstay, 21 pleaded guilty and had to pay a fine of £120 costs of £135 and a victim surcharge of £90. He was also given a community order and disqualified from driving for 12 months.
The incident took place in Evesham on October 23.
A 32-year-old woman was accused of assaulting a man and disorderly behaviour while drunk.
Jade Bayer is accused of being drunk at Shakeeys bar in Worcester on October 12 and of assaulting a man on the same day. Bayer will be remanded on unconditional bail until December 6 when she will appear in Worcester Magistrates Court.
Lorna Gallagher, 46 is accused of fraud. It is alleged that Gallagher of The The Avenue, Welland, Malvern dishonestly made a false representation to
Liverpool Insurance Company that her vehicle had been stolen when this not the case, intending to make a gain £2500.
Gallagher will appear at Worcester Crown Court on December 12 for a trail.
