A BOY was threatened with a knife and assaulted in Bourton-on-the-Water in what is believed to have been a targeted attack.
Police were called to the playing fields of Bourton Vale Cricket Club shortly after 8.15pm on Thursday, September 19, with a report that a group of men had got out of a car and chased and assaulted a teenage boy.

It was reported to police that the group of men returned to a black Peugeot 107 before driving away at speed in an unknown direction.
The victim, whose identity is unknown, is believed to be aged around 14-years-old and was seen running from the area.
Police are now appealing for witnesses. Anyone who was in the area at the time, or is the victim of the assault, should call police on 101 and quote incident 414 of September 19.
