A MAN has been shot near an infant and nursery school in the Frankly area.

An investigation has been launched after a man, aged 23, was shot in Frankley on Wednesday, October 16.

Police were called by paramedics to Mowbray Close just after 10pm.

The victim was found with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening and he was taken to hospital.
