A SECOND man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in relation to a stabbing in the city centre.
The 48-year-old man from Worcester has been released on bail with "enquiries still continuing to build the case" according to a West Mercia Police spokesman.
The incident took place on September 20 around 5.55pm in Nash’s Passage, an alley off New Street.
The victim has been named locally as Paul Gill.
A 39-year-old man was arrested on September 23, also under suspicion of attempted murder, and released on bail until October 20.
Three others were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, including a man, 45, who was released on bail until October 18.
Two others, a woman aged 44 and a man, 54, were released under investigation.
