CCTV pictures have been released of a man who police would like to speak to after a security guard was racially abused outside The Hive.

West Mercia Police released images of the man, in his early 20s, who is around 6'3" and with a slim build who they would like to speak to after an incident outside The Hive on October 1, when a man was refused entry to the premises before going on to racially abuse the victim.

He has slightly curly brown hair that is tied up in a bun on top of his head and was carrying a skateboard.

PC Joe Brooks from West Mercia Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses that were in the area that may have seen the incident take place that could help with our enquiries.

"We are also appealing for anyone who thinks they recognise the man in the CCTV images as we believe he may have information that may help with our investigation.

"The unfortunate victim of this incident was performing his daily work duties as a security guard. Racial abuse in our community will not be tolerated."

Anyone who witnessed these incident or recognises the description of the man can call 101 quoting 622s of October 1.
