POLICE are investigating a fatal crash in Kidderminster which involved a pick-up truck hitting a wall and rolling onto its roof.

Emergency services were called to the A451 Stourport Road in Kidderminster at around 11.40pm on Tuesday evening (September 10).

A red Mitsubishi Trojan pick-up is believed to have hit a wall and rolled onto its roof.

The driver - a man in his 20s - was pronounced dead at the scene.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, which sent one ambulance and a paramedic officer to the scene, said: "On arrival, crews discovered a pick-up truck that had suffered significant damage having crashed into a wall.

“The driver, a man, was found to have suffered multiple serious injuries in the incident.

“Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.

“There were no other patients in the incident.”

The man's next of kin is being supported by specially trained officers.

Police are now appealing for witnesses.

A police spokesman said: "Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the incident or who saw the vehicle and the manner in which it was being driven prior to the collision.

"They are also keen for anyone who has dashcam footage to come forward.

"Anyone with information is asked to call PC Dan Harper at West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 783s of September 10."
