A HOME care provider working in Redditch and Bromsgrove has been rated 'good' by health watchdog The CQC (The Care Quality Commission).

Caremark Redditch & Bromsgrove, which was visited earlier this year, offers a range of domiciliary care and support, including 24 hour live in care to people with in their own homes for people with dementia, Mental health conditions, and learning disabilities.

A recently published report says that people told inspectors that they felt safe and well supported.

The report said staff had a good understanding of how they protected people from harm and recognised different types of abuse and how to report it.

Potential risks to people had been identified through assessments and people had been involved with decisions in how to reduce the risk of harm to them.

The report added that here were enough staff on shifts to keep people safe and meet their needs.

During the visit inspectors talked with staff and customers.

Owner and operator Amarjit Gill said: “All of us here are enormously passionate about care and dedicated to our customers, so to receive a ‘Good’ CQC rating feels fantastic.

"We’d like to thank our care and support workers for their unwavering commitment and hard work.”

He added that he is currently recruiting care and support workers.
