A MAN was assaulted at a pub in Stourport during the town's annual carnival on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to Ye Olde Crown Inn pub in Bridge Street at around 7.20pm on September 7 to reports of an assault.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Services, which was called to the scene by police at 7.23pm, said: "We were called by police to a report of an assault at Ye Olde Crown Inn pub in Bridge Street, Stourport.
"One ambulance attended and on arrival discovered one patient - a man - who was treated for multiple injuries which are not believed to be life threatening and taken to hospital for further assessment."
A witness described seeing five police cars at the scene and reports on social media said a man was glassed.
West Mercia Police has been approached for comment.
