CANCER Research fundraisers are challenging people in the Wyre Forest to put together a stunning outfit costing £15 or less by rummaging through charity shop bargains.

Men and women can join in the Dress for Less Challenge, organised by the Wyre Forest Cancer Research UK committee, and show off their creations on the catwalk to raise money for the charity.

The fashion show will take place at the Hallmark Stourport Manor Hotel on Thursday, September 26.

Committee member Mike Griffiths said: "Protecting the environment by recycling and reusing is so important and this is a fun way of proving how we can dress for less by snapping up bargains at our favourite charity shops and still look amazing.

“The outfit can be for any occasion and accessorised with your own shoes and jewellery. All we ask is that you raise a minimum of £20 sponsorship to strut your stuff on the catwalk.”

Receipts to prove the cost of the clothes must be provided on the night and entrants can register at wfdressforless.co.uk or by calling 01562 68693.

Tickets to watch the show, which starts at 7pm, cost £5 and will be available on the door.

The audience will vote for their favourite outfits, with prizes for those with the most votes.
