The free event takes place on Sunday, August 25, from 2pm to 4pm at Unity House, Stanley Road, Worcester WR5 1BE.  There will be a buffet and bouncy castle for children.

“The event will be a fun festive occasion, which aims to bring the whole community together,” says the Mayor.

"You are guaranteed a very warm welcome.  So if you’ve never been to an Eid celebration before, then make this your first!”

Eid al-Adha, which is also called the “Festival of the Sacrifice”, is the second of two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide each year.

The event is free but numbers are limited, so call the Mayor’s office on 01905 722001 to book your place.
