Budding cyclists around Malvern can learn the skills they need to ride a bike safely with the ‘Bikeability’ programme.

The nationally-accredited course is available to both adults and children ensuring they gain practical cycle skills and have a better understanding of how to cycle on today’s roads.

The course is aimed at adults and children aged ten years and over. The course will help give cycling experience on local roads, teaching how to deal with traffic, as well as understand how road positioning can keep you safe helping to build your confidence. The course will cost £15.

An adults only ‘Learn to Ride’ class will see an instructor help first-time riders on their journey to gaining confidence on a bike. This session costs £15.

The courses are on Wednesday, August 14, and Thursday, September 5. Visit malvernhills.gov.uk/bikeability for information.
