Now the kids are out of school and the summer holidays are underway, the need for summer activities and family friendly days out is more pressing than ever.
Worcester, and its surrounding areas, are home to a wide range of fun and interesting activities for all the family to enjoy.
We asked Worcester News readers to share their recommendations for fun days out for the whole family, and this is what they told us.
Andrew Simmons said: “National Trust; it costs about £12 a month for a family membership, they have events regularly for children, you don’t have to go into the properties and the grounds are fabulous.
"Great value for a whole year of fun.”
Laura Goodwin said: “So far we've done country park, splash pads, the Star Wars exhibition, Cripplegate Park and feeding the ducks.
"Next week we're doing bowling and Diglis Park.”
Kate Wilkinson said: “Worcester Woods, Gheluvelt Park/Splashpad, climb the Cathedral Tower, Museum, The Knapp & Papermill.”
Kimberley Fisk said: “Top barn farm and it's free, you just pay for animal feed and tractor rides.”
