NEW parent and child parking spaces have been introduced at the Malvern Hills Retail Park.
The Malvern Gazette reported earlier this week that new spaces were being introduced after customers raised the issue of why they had been removed to bring in more disabled spaces.
Cushman and Wakefield, the firm which manages the retail park in Roman Way on behalf of Surrey County Council, announced that they had re-painted the bays so that there are now parent and child spaces again at the site.
A spokesman for Cushman and Wakefield had previously said: "Our priority is to ensure that all visitors have a safe and enjoyable visit.
"We review car parking arrangements continuously and, following feedback from disabled visitors, reinstated disabled parking spaces in front of Boots during recent refurbishment work to allow convenient and safe access when collecting prescriptions.
"We are working with the owner to reallocate a proportion of car parking as designated parent and child spaces to ensure all visitors have convenient parking options when visiting the retail park."
