AS the weather improves and everywhere turns green again, the team at Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms are celebrating Spring in their Onny Meadows as they get ready for some Easter fun.

The staff will be celebrating with a week of photographs on their Facebook page as the Meadows spring in to life once again. Entrance to the Centre and Meadows is free so visitors can enjoy the walks and sights for as long as they like, any day of the week.

The Centre’s award-winning café had a specially selected Mother’s Day menu with local Beef on offer as well as vegetarian options and delicious chocolate desserts.

Events for Easter include a Remarkable Romans Easter Holiday activity between 1pm and 2.30pm on Monday, April 15 through to Friday, April 19 and from Monday, April 22 until Friday, April 26.

There is a Remarkable Roman Cookery event on Tuesday, April 18 between 10am and 11.30am.

An Easter Crafts Drop In will take place on Friday, April 19 between 11am and 4pm.

The Discovery Centre is run by the Grow Cook and Learn charity and runs a programme of activities for adults and young people including a monthly Discovery Club.

It also runs regularly cookery workshops.
