A COTSWOLD school is celebrating a positive inspection report.

Kitebrook Preparatory School has had its report released after being inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate.

The school, just outside Moreton-in-Marsh, has had commendation for their pupils’ “outstanding communication skills” and for making “excellent contributions to the lives of others.” The inspectors also praised staff, who “actively promote the well-being of pupils”, while children display “high levels of self-confidence and self-esteem”.

“Creativity, initiative and independent work” is encouraged, ensuring that “all ages and abilities achieve well.”

Inspectors recommended that the school could improve even further by increasing the pace and challenge for more able pupils, and offering consistent opportunities for pupils to take initiative.

Headteacher Susan McLean said: “We pride ourselves on the academic and pastoral standards maintained at Kitebrook, especially giving thanks to the amazing staff for their impressive enthusiasm and unwavering dedication.

"We are delighted with our excellent outcome.”
