River levels are expected to start to drop today.
The River Severn, which has been at high levels since last week, has reached its peak with levels now predicted to start to fall.
In the meantime, the Government’s Flood Information Service (FIS) has called for people to remain prepared for possible flooding.
Areas near to the Severn are most at risk and affected areas include Worcester, Kempsey, Holt Fleet, Upton-upon-Severn and Severn Stoke.
Drivers are asked to avoid low lying roads to rivers as they carry a greater risk of being flooded.
Flood barriers are still in place at Severnside and Beales Corner, Bewdley.
