PUPILS from an Evesham first school learned about firefighters and fire safety recently.
The youngsters from Eckington First School took a trip to Evesham Fire Station where firefighters talked to the children about how the emergency services are real life superheroes.
Scott Tranmer, nursery and reception teacher, said: "As part of our topic called Superheroes, we took the children to see the firefighters. The fire crew were fantastic with our young children.
"They were so welcoming and helpful to all the children and parents. The class got to see first hand how the fire service help and protect us when we need them. The children were allowed to sit in the fire engine, dress in their fire kit, ask lots of questions and use the fire hose. A massive thank you to all the crew at Evesham Fire Station for helping us with our learning and making it so enjoyable."
