A MAN has been remanded in custody after being arrested in Kidderminster and charged for driving offences and medal theft.
The man, 41, was arrested at around 4am on Friday, January 11 on Hurcott Lane, for driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance, and receiving stolen goods.
He has been remanded in custody until Friday, February 8, when he is set to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court.
Dance medals with the name E. Robson engraved on the back, as well as two chests, were among the stolen items, which were found to belong to a house clearance store owner in Ross-on-Wye.
The medals originally belonged to dancer Edna Robson, who lived in Ross-on-Wye.
A social media campaign was launched by police to help trace the owner of the items last week.
