Families, friends and colleagues are being invited to wear their best fiendish fancy dress and join a hospice for its Halloween-themed fun run.

St Richard’s Hospice is set to hold its second Halloween Run at Worcester Woods Country Park on Sunday, October 28.

Participants can tackle ghosts and slime as they make their way round either a 2.5 or 5k route with plenty of trick or treat stations. There will be prizes for the best fancy dress too.

Kelly Johns, fundraiser at St Richard’s, said: “Our last Halloween Run was so much fun – with everyone getting into the scary spirit of the occasion and wearing their most ghoulish fancy dress.

“We can’t wait to see all our runners dressed up as witches, ghosts and pumpkins to take on the fun run for St Richard’s Hospice again.

“We're asking for all our participants to fundraise as much as they can for our hospice care, as the money raised through sponsorship and donations makes a huge difference to the patients and families that we care for.”

Tickets cost £12 for adults, £6 for ages four and above and under threes go free.
