People in Ross-on-Wye are celebrating after the town won gold in the Heart of England in Bloom Award.
The Chase Hotel in Ross also finished top, taking gold in the hotel and pub grounds category.
There was less success in Bromyard and the town has been stripped of its coveted gold because judges found too much dog mess.
The town did win a silvergilt but Tony Burt, a member of Bromyard and Winslow Town Council, has vowed to get gold back next year.
Elsewhere, Leominster and Hereford won silver-gilt awards, and Ledbury, Pembridge and Eardisland won the town, village and small village categories respectively.
