TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of drug offences after police found more than 50 cannabis plants at an address near Richard's Castle.
Officers attended Wheat Common Lane just before 3pm yesterday (Wednesday August 15), following information from another agency, which was at the address for an unrelated matter.
On arrival police found 54 plants at various stages of growth in bedrooms at the premises and a 62-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis.
Further information following the discovery led to a 37-year-old man being arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and possession of cannabis with intent to supply at an address in Churchill Avenue, Leominster a short time later.
An amount of suspected cannabis bush and resin was found at the Leominster address.
Both men remain in police custody at this time.
