Leominster Traders’ Association has been disbanded after just a handful of meetings.
Denise Kerwood was the town council’s representative on the recently-formed group and said the plug had been pulled due to a lack of interest.
There was one meeting where just three people turned up.
But Coun Kerwood, who won a Leominster North byelection in March, hopes the group’s short life doesn’t reflect on the town’s vibrant business community.
“All the traders in Leominster work very hard,” she said.
“It is such a diverse and vibrant place to shop and this is due to the hard work of the traders here."
