SPEED cameras will soon be in force along the A44 between Worcester and Kington.
‘Enforcement locations’ are being introduced at Cotheridge, Broadwas, Bringsty Common, Bredenbury, Steens Bridge, Monkland, Pembridge, Lyonshall, Kington and Floodgates after residents living in the villages and towns along the route raised concerns over speeding traffic.
Katy Jenkins, of the Safer Roads Partnership in West Mercia, said the aim of taking a ‘route approach’ was to get drivers obeying the speed limit along the entire length of the A44 as motorists will not be sure which enforcement sites are operational at any given time.
