THE electric buggies that tourists can drive around the Brecon Beacons will be on show this weekend.
The Renault Twizy vehicles, which Hay-on-Wye businessman Ian Foster has helped introduce to the region as director of the Brecon Beacon National Parl Authority’s Eco Travel Network project, will be available during the Electric Brecon Beacons event at the National Park Visitor Centre, near Libanus, tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday.
Local businesses are being invited to find out more about installing charging points for the environmentally friendly ‘quadricycles’ that are already available for drivers to hire in the national park bordering Hay.
