MY grandfather passed away recently and we feel, as a family, some of the people who were there and supported all of us through his last few days should be thanked.
We called the primary care trust as things were getting out of our control. The on-call doctor came, she arranged a district nurse who sorted out care for the following day.
The next day my granddad’s own doctor came, as well as a district nurse, four carers and a Marie Curie nurse for the night. Without this outstanding support network I honestly don’t know how we would have coped, so thank you to every single one of you.
