AFEW years ago parking restrictions were introduced in the Aylestone Hill area.
Yellow lines were painted on some but not all roads around this area.
One of the reasons for this was rumoured to be that the council wanted to stop students from the local colleges parking all day in the nearby roads. I wish to make the following points.
Why should some roads have restrictions on and some not?
Now that the Hereford Technical College has finished its face lift it is visible from the road that extra parking has been made available.
Is it therefore not time for the council to take off restrictions on the surrounding roads, so that residents do not have the inconvenience of having to constantly move their cars to avoid getting booked by over-zealous traffic wardens?
