A WOULD-BE bike thief has appeared before magistrates.
Carl Gwynne entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 41-year-old had attempted to steal a bicycle in Hereford on May 31.
Gwynne, of Red Norman Rise, Hereford, was handed a six-month conditional discharge. He must pay costs of £135 and a £22 victim surcharge.
