A VAN driver has been handed a roads ban after drug-driving on a busy Hereford road.
Steven Phillip Howells entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster.
The court heard the 42-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a Ford Transit van on Hereford's Ross Road while over the drug limit on October 27.
An evidential blood test revealed he had 355 microgrammes of cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine per litre of blood. The legal limit is 50.
Howells, of Hunderton Road, Hereford, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £800. He must also pay costs of £135 and an £80 victim surcharge.
