GUIDES have been meeting up during the coronavirus pandemic - thanks to the internet.
District commissioner for Ledbury District Girlguiding, Lesley Bennett said: “We are all pulling together.
“Our girls are being offered adventures to take part in at home.
"Units are in contact by social media, setting challenges the girls can complete to work towards gaining badges.
"Some units are holding virtual meetings to enable the girls to carry on joining in and have a sense of belonging.
"We are an extension to family units and offer as much support as we can during these difficult times.
“Guiding is all about the girls.
"We give girls opportunities to develop their own voice and own personalities and members are involved in decision-making and planning.
“We are dedicated to make a difference to the lives of the girls in our movement.”
